St. Joe's Central Intake

Basic needs and emergency shelter placement for children and youth referred by a county worker, police or court.

Services:

  • Food, clothing, medical attention
  • For youth, ages 0 - 17 years, referred by Hennepin County: referral to shelter foster homes, other shelters or St. Joseph's Home for Children's Emergency Shelter
  • For youth, ages 5 - 17 years, referred by a non-Hennepin County agency: referral to St. Joseph's Home for Children's Emergency Shelter
  • Temporary shelter while waiting for placement

Responsibilities/Fees:

  • Referral by law enforcement or county agency
  • Payment by referring county

Daily, 24 hours
