Hold a food drive to benefit Catholic Charities' three food shelves. Donations are needed year-round.
Hold a collection or drive to collect items on our agency wish list (pdf).
Hold a baby shower with donated items such as diapers and clothing benefitting new mothers and babies served by Prenatal Services.

Assist with distribution of fresh produce with your group of four on Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Branch I, Minneapolis

Package and deliver groceries to homebound food shelf clients on the first or second Saturday of the month. Volunteers use their own vehicle. Great for families with younger children. Branch I, Minneapolis

Assist elders with various fix-up projects including lawn care, household chores, raking or snow shoveling. Caregiver Support and Senior Care Management, Twin Cities

Assist with various interior painting projects including walls and door frames. Volunteers are asked to provide one to two gallons of paint and painter's tape. All other supplies are provided. Exodus Residence, Minneapolis

Assist in preparing for the arrival of a refugee family. Meet family at the airport and help them become acquainted to the community. Serve as a guide, friend and advocate. Social Event Organizer

Develop engaging activities for low-income male and female residents (arts and crafts, bingo, exercise or movie programs, to name a few). Exodus Residence, Minneapolis
