Dorothy Day Center
The Dorothy Day Center in downtown St. Paul provides homeless people and families with basic necessities and resources that give hope for a better future. The drop-in center provides a hospitable environment while upholding the dignity of people in need. The center helps alleviate the immediate suffering for those experiencing homelessness and provides resources to help people and families move toward self-sufficiency. Services include nutritionally balanced lunch and dinner, a food shelf, mental health services and medical care, which includes optometry and chiropractic care.

Hours: Breakfast (served Saturday and Sunday only): 9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Lunch: noon – 12:45 p.m. Dinner: 4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. Other services available Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
