Faith Community Opportunities for 6-20 individuals

Catholic Charities welcomes all faith communities to help fulfill its mission to serve those most in need.
Drives and Donations
- Hold a collection or drive for food, clothing or other basic children’s items. St. Joseph’s Home for Children, Minneapolis
- Hold a collection or drive for basic needs including bedding, toiletries, kitchen/cooking supplies or school supplies. Adoption Services, Migration & Refugee Services, Parenting Services, Prenatal Services, St. Paul
- Hold a drive to collect household supplies, children’s clothing, diapers, baby wipes or school supplies. Northside Child Development Center, Minneapolis
- Host a “back to school” drive to collect notebooks, pens, folders and other needed supplies. Northside Child Development Center and St. Joseph’s Home for Children, Minneapolis

Food Shelf Volunteer
- Assist with distribution of fresh produce with your group of four on Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Branch I Food Shelf, Minneapolis

Meal Provider
- Prepare and serve a meal for 200-250 individuals (food purchase is appreciated). Training and assistance with meal planning is provided. Breakfast 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. or lunch 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Branch III, Minneapolis
- Prepare and serve a meal for approximately 300 homeless and near-homeless clients (food purchase appreciated). Breakfast (weekends only) 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., lunch (daily) 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., dinner (daily) 2:30 p.m. – 6 p.m., Dorothy Day Center, St. Paul
- Prepare a small meal to be served at 8 p.m. for 200-250 homeless individuals. Volunteers are asked to purchase food for the meal. Secure Waiting Space, Minneapolis
