Family Service Center
The Family Service Center provides temporary housing for Ramsey County families seeking permanent housing. It is the main shelter for homeless families in Ramsey County. As many as 55 adults and children may stay at the Family Service Center for a maximum of 30 days. Families receive housing and employment search resources and other services to help them move forward.
Services:
- Up to 30 consecutive nights of shelter
- A team of advocates for housing and employment search
- Children's activities, tutoring and resources
- Parenting education and life skills training
- Three meals per day
- Transportation assistance
- Onsite medical and dental health services
- Laundry facilities
- Computer lab
- Six months of in-home supportive services following shelter stay
