Mary Hall Single Room Occupancy
The Mary Hall Single Room Occupancy (SRO) program provides a dignified, affordable and independent living environment for single adults. The
facility has a capacity for 57 men and 18 women. Residents have
overnight visitor privileges and access to health care, job search
assistance and case management.
There are 75 private furnished rooms with shared community areas,
including kitchens. The rent for these rooms is 30 percent of the resident’s monthly income. The St. Paul Public Housing Agency subsidizes the remainder.
Responsibilities/Fees:
- Clients must qualify for public housing
- Must call every Monday to reaffirm interest
- Security deposit and first month's rent upon admission
- Rent based on income
2008 Outcomes: - Mary Hall Single Room Occupancy served 110 clients
- Seventy-five percent moved into next-step housing
