A High Flying Good Time
On
Jan. 28, Northwest Pilots for Kids delivered excitement to St. Joseph’s Home for Children
when the pilots arrived by helicopter. The group from Northwest Airlines
annually visits St. Joe’s to create an afternoon of fun for the children.
Children were treated to carnival games, a juggling performance, pizza and face painting. Then the children gathered outside as a helicopter circled overhead. The helicopter landed on the field, and a pilot in full uniform ran through the snow to greet the children.
