Volunteers Spring Clean St. Joe’s Kid’s Kitchen
Spring cleaning began at St. Joseph’s Home for Children last Saturday when volunteers thoroughly cleaned the kids' kitchen. The group from the National Association of Asian American Professionals scrubbed and mopped the kitchen where children learn kitchen safety and how to prepare healthy snacks.
“The volunteers did a terrific job with close attention paid to the smallest details,” said St. Joe’s Volunteer Coordinator Mary Schoelch. “They washed and organized everything, right down to the sorting of spice jars to a thorough cleaning of floor and counter surfaces. Our oven and refrigerator look amazing.”
